Sentry SG1

APR has engineered the SG1 for improved driving safety of corporate owned vehicles while increasing fuel economy.  The SG1 works by limiting the maximum speed and acceleration of the vehicle that can be set to as little as 20 MPH.  By operating at lower performance levels, both safety and fuel economy are maximized.  The system is completely configurable using the supplied Cal USB flash-key – no computer necessary for programming. Simply insert the Cal key to unlock the current speed and remove the key to lock the new desired maximum speed.  An administrator USB flash-key is also included that puts the system in bypass mode allowing normal vehicle operation.  In addition, the SG1 includes a shut-down manager that monitors extended idle, low oil pressure and over temperature conditions.  If the vehicle is idling too long, looses oil pressure or runs too hot, the SG1 will safely shut-down the engine to limit damage.  The SG1 is available for all GM, Ford, Chrysler and Toyota vehicles with electronic throttle.
