APR has the answer – parallel processing and sensor/actuator simulation.  Being locked-out of proprietary ECU access is nothing new to APR.  Over the past decade we’ve developed sensor and actuator simulation technology that not only allows non-failed dynamometer operation, but also the ability to change air, fuel and spark calibrations – all without upsetting the factory OBD2. The same technology also allows us to explore auxiliary hardware improvements such as turbo charging, supercharging, valvetrain modifications, intake and exhaust geometries.  Aftermarket performance companies have access to services for acquiring “hard data” for their product validation and development.
